PortClaude ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal finance dashboard operated by Santiago Blanco. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this solely to authenticate you and personalize your experience.

Financial Data

If you choose to connect bank or brokerage accounts through our third-party data provider (Plaid), we may access account balances, transaction history, and account identifiers. This data is used exclusively to display your financial information within the dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate your identity via Google sign-in
  • Display your connected financial account data
  • Improve and maintain the application

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with any third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured infrastructure. Financial credentials are never stored directly — account connections are managed through Plaid's secure token-based system. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth — for authentication
  • Plaid — for financial account connectivity
  • Vercel — for application hosting

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all stored personal and financial data will be permanently removed.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Disconnect linked financial accounts at any time
  • Revoke Google sign-in access via your Google account settings

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
